Upon completion of this activity, pharmacists will be able to:

1. Describe the mechanism of action for SGLT2 inhibitors in heart failure.

2. Analyze primary literature relating to the use of SGLT2 inhibitors in heart failure.

3. Identify patients with heart failure that are appropriate candidates for SGLT2 inhibitors.
