Upon completion of this activity, pharmacists will be able to:
1. List pharmacologic options recommended for treatment of heart failure and describe limitations associated with their use.
2. Identify key changes in heart failure treatment between the 2022 AHA/ACC/HFSA Clinical Practice Guideline and previously published guideline recommendations.
3. Summarize primary literature guiding updated treatment recommendations for heart failure.
Upon completion of this activity, pharmacy technicians will be able to:
1. List pharmacologic options recommended for treatment of heart failure.
2. Recognize the limitations of medications used for heart failure treatment.
3. Describe key changes in heart failure treatment between the 2022 AHA/ACC/HFSA Clinical Practice Guidelines and previously published guideline recommendations.
