Upon completion of this activity, pharmacists will be able to:
1. Compare and contract biological and non-biological products
2. Describe in general terms how monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins are produced
3. Describe the nomenclature methodology for monoclonal antibody biologicals
4. List the type of information that can be found in the Purple Book Database of biologicals
5. Describe the mechanism of action, most common side effects, and special considerations of example biologicals presented
