UPDATES IN TYPE 2 DIABETES

Upon completion of this activity, pharmacists will be able to:
1. Summarize the 2023 American Diabetes Association Guidelines Updates in Type 2 diabetes
2. Examine the place in therapy for different diabetes medications
3. Review the use of a novel incretin agonist
Upon completion of this activity, pharmacy technicians will be able to:
1. Identify the brand and generic names of diabetes medications
2. Recognize correct dosing of a novel incretin agonist
3. Identify diabetes medications that are associated with a risk for hypoglycemia
