UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS

Upon completion of this activity, pharmacists and technicians will be able to:
1. Identify common causative pathogens of common upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs) – acute pharyngitis, acute otitis media, and acute bacterial rhinosinusitis
2. Recognize signs and symptoms of the common URTIs
3. Recall appropriate pharmacological treatment options of common URTIs
4. Identify appropriate efficacy and safety monitoring
